A big update that takes PaceWise beyond a single run — see where your form stands across distances and years, and plan race day in more detail.

  • Personal-best history — keep dated results for each distance and watch your progression on a chart. The fastest is always surfaced as your PB.
  • Import from Health — pull your fastest 5K, 10K, half, and marathon straight from Apple Health and save them as personal bests. Read-only, only when you tap Import, and all on your device.
  • Equivalent times — compare a personal best across distances three ways: Riegel, Cameron, and VDOT. Three models instead of one, so you can see where they agree and where they don't.
  • Age-graded bests — WMA age grading scores your personal bests against the world standard for your age and sex, so a 5K at 45 stands next to a 5K at 25.
  • Race goals — save more than one target for a race, see how achievable each looks against your bests, shape a pacing plan from positive to negative split, and add race day to your calendar, with a countdown.
  • Pace bands — share a pace band as an image or a print-ready PDF.
  • Treadmill & track — convert between treadmill speed and running pace, with track presets and per-lap splits down below the mile.
  • Settings & onboarding — set your units and athlete profile up front, read a plain privacy statement, copy any result with a long-press, and get a first-run tip to find your way around.

The first release — a fast, focused running pace calculator.

  • Solve for the third — tap Time, Distance, or Pace and the rest follows, updating as you type.
  • Preset distances — 1 mile, 5K, 10K, Half, Marathon, or any custom distance.
  • Splits — cumulative time at every kilometre or mile, including the exact finish.
  • Personal bests — store a PB per distance and see how a goal time compares.
  • Goals — turn a goal time into a plan: the required pace, the splits to run it (even or a negative split that finishes faster), and a readiness read from your personal bests.
  • Kilometres or miles — switch any time; everything converts.
  • Calm and private — Dynamic Type, VoiceOver, light and dark mode. No account, no network, no tracking.
